Skin Rejuvenation
Over time and with various environmental factors the skin slows down with the production of collagen the main structural protein in connective tissue and elastin the skins key connective fibres. How IPL works is by the stimulation of collagen and elastin deep in the skins dermis which then causes the skin to form new collagen and shortens the elastin fibres, by applying controlled heat and intense light it therefore plumps up the skin creating a smoother youthful appearance.

The skin will be left looking healthier and more radiant. IPL skin rejuvenation is great in the reduction of scarring and stretch marks.*
“To love yourself as you are is a miracle, and to seek yourself is to have found yourself, for now. And now is all we have, and love is who we are.”
FAQ
When it comes to get the absolute best results from IPL therapy, we recommend that our patients do 5 treatments, performed 4 weeks apart. Because each treatment builds upon the next one and allows me to treat your skin gradually to see how you will react. With the IPL machine we can toggle the settings to reach pigmentation and blood vessels at different depths of skin, so that with each treatment we are able to target a specific area.
Before your IPL procedure, your skin care specialist will examine your skin and let you know what to expect. Let them know if you have any skin conditions that might affect healing after your treatment, such as inflammatory acne or eczema.
Staying out of the sun for at least 2 weeks before and after the treatment is an absolute requirement so as to avoid any adverse reaction related to the treatment, which is why we generally advise patients start their treatment series in the fall or winter so that they are done before summer and can be well-protected from excess sun exposure.
The answer is “Yes and no.” We are constantly aging, and even despite our best attempts at sun protection, most of us still get incidental sun exposure throughout the year.
